A Personalized Approach to Wellness
Malnutrition. Digestive Disorders. Toxic Overload. Mental Disorders. Mold Illness. Genetic Mutations.…
Lifestyles. Environmental exposures. Ancestry (genetics). Dietary choices and patterns. These are some major factors of life that tend to LEAD us into chronic illnesses and syndromes.
The core focus of Metabolic Evaluations is to discover how these issues can affect an individual’s metabolism and, ultimately, one’s health. Like snowflakes, not one of us is exactly the same as another. Our mission here at Metabolic Evaluations is to provide A Personalized Approach to Wellness for each individual.
What is Metabolism?
Metabolism is the chemical and physical processes inside our bodies that keep us alive. Food provides fuel for energy, and for building and protecting our cells. Vitamins and minerals in food are vital for those processes to sync. What we eat. How we eat. How we live. Where we live. Our genetics. All these can affect our metabolism.
What are Chronic Illnesses?
Chronic means continuing or occurring again and again. Chronic illnesses are continual states of unwellness. They can be overwhelming and often lead to hopelessness.
Fatigue. Migraines. Muscle pain. Joint pain. Unexplained weight gain. Bloating. Depression. Anxiety. A perpetual cough.
Symptoms like these don’t happen suddenly and don’t go away overnight.
What is a Syndrome?
A syndrome is a set of several symptoms experienced at the same time. For example, place the word “syndrome” after “chronic fatigue” and you get, “chronic fatigue syndrome“. Some symptoms include unrelenting fatigue, dizziness, “brain fog”, sleep problems, sensitivities to noise, chemicals, or light, etc.
Chronic illnesses and syndromes aren’t easy fixes, either. Medications can relieve symptoms and minimize signs, but often just mask for the moment.
Metabolic Evaluations works to uncover the mystery of the misery.
